Al'Nair believes that an Australian Shepherd should be structurally sound, have an excellent temperament, and be overall healthy in order to enjoy a long and prosperous life. All dogs used in our breeding program have health clearances, which include but are not limited to OFA certification of hips, OFA certification of elbows, Eyes cleared annually by a certified opthamologist. Puppies are raised in our home and well-socialized. All puppies are AKC registered and come with a complete health record.

All initial interviews are done by phone. You may email for general information, but a phone call will be mandatory and phone calls are overall preferred.

Al'Nair puppies are available to approved homes only!

CURRENT LITTERS

Our two girls who were bred to have litters in February decide that was not good timing for them.

So we have no litters at this time. We will replan for late summer/early fall litters.

Australian Shepherds are extremely loyal and loving dogs, and very intelligent as well. They must have adequate exercise and do not do well in apartments. They are herding dogs, therefore, they are designed to work all day. In order to exercise their minds and bodies, they must have a job; whether its a run in the local park, playing frisbee in the back yard, or a walk around the neighborhood, they are happiest when they feel they have accomplished something.
